Assignments for May 11th - 15th

Dear Parents,

We have only two weeks left of school work!!! I wish it was me doing the teaching. I miss your children. Thank you for your hard work and dedication in helping your children with their school, for teaching them in the last two and a half months. GOOD JOB!!!!!

It has been my pleasure to teach your children this past year and, for some of you, teaching your other children throughout the years. I will miss teaching your children that would have passed through my second grade doors. I will miss seeing how your children grow through the coming years. I would like to thank you for all your dedication that you have given me through the years.

In the next two weeks we will focus mostly on finishing this last math chapter. I’m sorry but we need to do 2 pages of math a day in order to finish this most important chapter. So because of this we will only do math and reading for the week of May 12th thru May 15th.

For the week of May 19th thru May 22nd, we will do Math and reading and then some Grammar. We will not be able to finish Little House in the Big Woods, but please try to finish it in the summer with your child. My favorite parts are the parts we won’t be able to get to. Reading - pages 117-130

Friday 5-15-20

Math – Lesson 9-14, pages 413-414; and Lesson 9-15, pages 415-416
Reading - pages 131-144. Draw a picture of one of your favorite things you read about this week. Children, this is a grade. So you must draw and color neatly!!! ABSOLUTLEY NO SCRIBBLING!!!!!!!!

Math – Chapter 9 Test pages 433-434. Please let your child do this test on their own. If they have a question that is fine. Please just try and explain with an example without giving away the answer.

Parents, please be sure to return the following books: Baltimore Catechism book and the reading book Josefina. Most have returned Josefina, but some still haven’t; and almost all the catechism books haven’t been returned yet.
