Our Lady Help of Christians Academy2007-2008 Group Picture

Our Lady Help of Christians Academy strives to educate its students in accordance with this principle. We instruct them in the Catholic Faith while providing a structured and disciplined environment that allows for academic excellence at all grade levels.

In addition to a daily rosary, we begin each school week with a Mass offered especially for the children.

 

OLHCA offers Traditional Catholic education for all children from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

 

Announcements

Christmas Program - Kudos to the staff and students of the Academy for the fantastic Christmas program which they presented Friday evening, December 19th.  To produce such a program in spite of the difficulties they have had to endure this year, with the moving of the school and the many inconveniences of operating in a temporary location, is certainly a testament to their hard work and dedication.  Many thanks to all who helped make the evening possible.

 

Christmas Vacation - Classes will be in recess from December 22nd through January 4th, resuming on January 5th.  Have a Blessed Christmas season and a Happy and Holy New Year!

 

Reminder Regarding Snow Days - If the Bennett or Strasburg school districts are closed, we will be closed also.  Because many of our students and teachers live outside the Bennett and Strasburg school districts, we may also be closed on some days even when these districts are in session.  Phone calls will be made when there is a cancellation or delay, so please be sure you have a current phone chain.  If you do not have one, please contact the school secretary.  Also, please remember that when the local school districts have not closed and you do not receive a call from the school, parents should use their judgment when there is inclement weather.  Children who are late to school on such days will not be penalized.
