Upper School Choir

Greetings all Choir students!

So, we don't know what exactly will happen as far as concert goes; it depends on when school gets back in session, but, hopefully, we can squeeze a concert in, even if it ends up being on a different date! I cut Down by the Riverside because it is pretty challenging and we won't be having many practices together.

I put recordings here of some of the other songs we will be doing, so please listen to them when you get a chance.

The recordings are of the full SATB, Tenor predominate, and Bass predominate, mainly because the boys had fewer practices than the girls. So, girls, let me know if you want any of your recordings in Alto or Soprano predominate, and we will put them on there.

The list of songs is:

1) Sword of Bunker Hill (1775)

SBH - TTB

SBH - Tenor 1

SBH - Tenor 2

SBH - Bass

2) The Star Spangled Banner (1814)

3) Gentle Annie (1856) I Dream of Jeannie (1854)

GA-IDJ - SATB

GA-IDJ - Tenor

GA-IDJ - Bass

4) Grandfather’s Clock (1876)

GC - SATB

GC - Tenor

GC - Bass

5) You’re a Grand Old Flag (1906)

6) Over There (1917)

7) The Last Goodbye (2002)

Seniors, I am not able to post The Last Goodbye, yet, so in the meantime, you can just sing along to the Billy Boyd version, even though he sings it in a different key than we will be. Please, dont listen to other versions, as they are not exactly the same. Also, remember to submit pictures for the slideshow! I havent recieved one yet! You can text them or email them to me.

We are also scheduled to sing a high mass on May 1st, the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker. It would be so awesome if we could do that, especially since we missed the March 19th high mass! Everything will be the same for this mass as for the March 19th mass, except the propers are slightly different.
